About this film

Asyawiah: a 0:20 AI motion-graphics explainer proposal by THE UNKNOWN BRAND, made for a pitch and not commissioned. Watch the full portrait film with sound.

A paper-collage explainer about one block of marble. The block sits on layers of torn paper under «عمرها ملايين السنين», a dotted line runs to a villa under «شلون وصلت بيتك؟», and the film follows it from a quarry and a world map through a saw blade, a ruler and scissors, a polish and a marble living-room floor. It ends on the Asyawiah mark and «من 1956».
