Website privacy notice
This notice describes information handled by the THE UNKNOWN BRAND website when you browse, prepare a brief or send a project enquiry. Contact hello@theunknownbrand.com with questions about your information.
Information you send
A project enquiry can include your name, brand, chosen services, project notes, timing and your selected contact method, such as email or WhatsApp. The site also attaches referral and device information described below. Use the brief for information relevant to discussing the project; do not include passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal records.
The form sends the request to the studio through its email delivery service. Depending on the selected reply method and the information supplied, it may send a confirmation to you. Enquiry records can also be stored in the website’s connected submission database and locally in the browser.
Drafts and browser storage
The project form keeps an unfinished draft in session storage for the current browser tab. The website also uses browser storage for interface preferences, referral attribution and enquiry records. The first recorded referral can remain in local storage between visits. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those local records; it does not erase information already delivered to the studio.
Referral and advertising measurement
Referral information can include the referring website, landing page, campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers, timestamp, browser, device, language and screen size. It helps the studio understand how enquiries reach the website, including visits from search engines and AI assistants. A referral label is an inference from the available link information, not proof that a particular answer or advertisement caused the enquiry.
The interactive website uses Google Ads and Meta advertising measurement. These services can receive page and conversion events, browser information and advertising identifiers. For contact-event matching, the website can send contact details to its server for hashing before transmission to Meta. Hashing supports matching; it is not anonymisation. Provider cookies and browser settings affect this measurement.
Services involved
The website uses Vercel for hosting, Resend for email delivery, Supabase where configured for submission storage, and Google and Meta for advertising measurement. Their services may process information on infrastructure outside Kuwait. Following a WhatsApp or social link takes you to that provider, where its own privacy information applies.
Questions, corrections and deletion requests
Email hello@theunknownbrand.com to ask about an enquiry, correct contact information or request deletion. Include enough context to locate the request, such as the email address you used or its project reference. Do not send identity documents unless the studio explains why they are needed. This notice does not set a fixed retention period for project correspondence.
